A few times a week I fall in love with a new cat via the amazing illustrations featured at Meowdoodle. Artists and graphic designers draw portraits of their cats, attempting to capture each unique kitty personality. I love collaborative projects. And kitties. And portraits. And illustrations. And Meowdoodle.

So much movement and magic in these few bits of custom font… and it’s only in the ‘experimental stage’. I’m keeping my eye on awesome type by Craig Ward.
So, I think these are the BEST ever. Vintage, sexy, minimalist, modern, geometric, pure adventure. Also, it’s no secret that I have a thing for mint. From Michael Tseng who also might be a funny guy.
Here are some bits and bobs that brought me joy today. All from happy things. Also, I am halfway through The Boat that Rocked and I am loving it. 60′s Rock and Roll was controversial and synonymous with sex and drugs… now it’s considered tame. I am quite sure I was there is a past life. Anyway, the movie is pretty beautiful and has amazing costumes and cute peoples… yeah… leaving to finish watching it now…
(I learnt the dog first, and loved it so much I didn’t need the others… or the shadow part)
I couldn’t help myself! So please, indulge in these pictures I have found on Adriano Brodbeck’s flickr. Pretty pictures with pretty copy stolen from pretty neat songs… And the rest of his photography isn’t so bad either.
The open areas of negative space and colour scheme reminds me of work done my my good friend Belinda Carmen Love Lee. Check it out, she is super passionate about design and a sweet person to know.
